Flensburger Winterbock

Flensburger Brauerei is a brewery located in Flensburg in the Bundesland of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is one of the last country-wide operating breweries not being part of a larger brewery group. The company was founded on September 6, 1888 by five citizens of Flensburg.

Tasting Notes:

Pours a medium golden amber with a fine, one finger white head with good retention and thick lacing. Aroma of biscuit and mildly dry caramel malt, apple and mild nuttiness. Flavor is biscuit and dry caramel malt, brown bread, light dates and nuts; finishes light with a mild bitterness and husky grain. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A nicely presented bock that starts out pretty well with solid malt and bread flavors, but kind of thins out into the finish with grainy bitterness that somewhat overwhelms the bready malt. An authentic tasting, but rather light doppelbock.

Celerbration IPA
https://sierranevada.com/beer/celebration-ipa/
First brewed Celebration IPA in the winter of 1981. Each year, we use only the first fresh hops of the growing season to create this complex and robust ale. Layered pine and citrus hop aromas balance delicately against rich, malt sweetness to shape this bold wintertime classic.
A seasonal favorite of our brewmaster!

Choufee Cherry
https://chouffe.com/en/brewery-achouffe/#

This is the latest addition to the Achouffe Brewery... The aroma of Cherry CHOUFFE gives pride of place to cherries. It also reveals notes of strawberry, almond, spices and sweet Port. Round-bodied, soft and delicate, Cherry CHOUFFE delights the gourmands among us. It has a satisfying finish, with a very slight bitterness.

Pours dark brown that turns deep ruby red when held up to the light. Thick off white, pinkish head with great lasting power and beautiful lacing. Aroma is fresh baked cherry pie. Flavor follows. Feel is light and refreshing. Overall a fun fruity beer.
